The Ozobot is a small robot that can be pogrammed using black lines and color codes.
-
The children can draw a labyrinth depending on the task and have to steer the robot through it with the appropriate color codes.
-
To increase the level of difficulty, the maze can be drawn while the robot is already on the move.
The children of the Protestant elementary school use a pen to draw a labyrinth for the Ozobot. With appropriate color codes you can give them various instructions, making it turn left or right at intersections or drive slower or faster. An additional level of difficulty arises when you draw the maze while the robot is driving, as seen in the video.
With the help of sensors, the Ozobot follows the lines drawn on a sheet of paper, which turns randomly without appropriate programming using color codes. The idea of the pupil to build a kind of redirection is right, but he forgot the arbitrariness of the Ozobot and the fact that the sensors cannot interpret lines too close together correctly.
