Festive vernissage for creative students
The Research Campus STIMULATE was delighted to be part of the festive Advent vernissage of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FaRaFEIT) student council, which is a young and inspiring tradition for students of electrical engineering and information technology (FEIT) at Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. This unique Advent calendar offers students the opportunity to solve creative tasks in groups of up to four people and to engage with their subject area in a variety of ways.
The competition, which ran from December 1 to 24, challenged students to solve puzzles, write Christmas poems using electrical engineering terms and make their own FEIT-style Christmas decorations. On the evening of the Advent calendar vernissage, the results of the competition were presented in a festive atmosphere and the best group was awarded the coveted prize of a beer pong table in FEIT design.
Some of the students also used their creative ideas in research and development projects at the Research Campus STIMULATE. Creative approaches can lead to groundbreaking advances that drive the medical technology industry forward and ultimately have a positive impact on human lives.
